A student of Master Tim Loomis since 2003, I received my first black belt at the age of 12. I began teaching in 2010 as a Senpai (Junior Instructor).  After countless hours on the mat as both a student and teacher, I was promoted Sensei and Head Instructor in Goshin Jujutsu. I am in charge of curriculum for Jujutsu classes at The Silent Mind.

I play several musical instruments in my spare time, as well as practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  I am currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology at The University of Akron.

Biographical Information

• June 2001: Became Yellow Belt in Judo, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

• September 2001: Moved to Ohio, tried taekwondo and karate.

• June 2003: Started training under Sensei Tim Loomis.

• May 2008: Obtained Junior Division Black Belt.

• January 2010: Became a Junior Instructor.

• May 2013: Promoted to Senior Division Black Belt in Goshin Jujutsu.

• June 2014: Promoted to Sensei of Goshin Jujutsu.

• August 2014: Promoted to Second Degree Black Belt in Goshin Jujutsu.

• January 2015: Promoted to Head Instructor of Goshin Jujutsu.

• June 2018:  Promoted to Third Degree Black Belt in Goshin Jujutsu
